NO, but he would expect to be a 3 year FO and given credit for his DOH. then let the seats fall where they may. as it is, swapa wants the seats AND for us to go to the back of the line.

i want to work at swa as much as the next guy, but we will remember how we are being treated for a very long time.

That's cool that you will remember how you are being treated. Let me ask you a question, what are you going to do to make sure everyone remembers? Just curious.

Cry me a f-ing river! You will be treaded great when you get here. You are not a SWA pilot!

Just because you earned something at one employer does not mean you earned it at another. One does not equal the other. The entitlement mentality makes me sick.

That's true if you change employers. However, SWA elected to make AAI part of the company and its employees YOUR employees.

Therefore, their seniority should transfer along with the rest of the AAI assets.

If I were a swa pilot I'd be ashamed at the way my management was treating our new employees!

Don't try that psychological BS with me brother. They are going to best for SWA. As one of your ALPA guy's told my friend, It's just business. Hey while your at it go cry to BJ at AT, and tell him GK is not fair.

Hey FUPA, watch what you wish for because it could happen to you. Karma is a bee-atch.

I never said it couldn't. However, this is the reason I think its important for AAI guys to get a fair SLI.

I know how I'd feel if a bunch of arrogant jerk-offs tried to staple 650 of the guys I work with, robbing them of their earned seniority.

No one at AT has"earned" any Seniority at SWA. Getting bought does not constitute earning seniority anywhere else. All you have earned is the big staple. Anything else is huge bonus, in that you get to keep your job. No one owes you anything dude. SWA bought jets.slots, and gates. You're just the baggage that came with it they have to deal with. Be grateful for what you have. Others would gladly take your place.

This is what I and others are talking about...the unbelievable arrogance of this post reflects the majority opinion at SWA. And not just on the boards, but in the cockpits and layover bars as well. You guys just don't get it.

One last try at logical reasoning...try to keep up, maxipad:

The God King obviously wanted something when he made the deal. He wanted the assets of a competitor airline. All the assets...planes, slots, gates, ground personnel AND PILOTS.

He wanted it all. He got it all. AAI pilots earned their seniority at their airline. Now their airline will merge with your airline. You earned your seniority they earned theirs.

Now, if you were fair and equitable, you would recognize that. But, you guys refuse. You want their Captain seats and all their F/Os stapled behind you because you somehow think you're all superior aviators because you bought type ratings and got hired.

The sad thing is NONE of you recognize how bogus you look to the rest of us.

At least its entertaining reading the banter.

Holy cr@p... nice attitude. But, why the arrogance and ego coming from you? I read another post of yours stating that you don't work for either SWA or AT. So tell us, if you were an Airtran pilot would you still feel this way?? Somehow I think not...
