The first person to contact them with an actual "Hawkaire" type rating will have the job. ;)

With the way these banks are bought, sold and merged, it doesn't look like a very secure job.

Yeah! I wonder if any Southtrust pilots lost their jobs... If so, why not hire one of them back.

Both of SouthTrust's LR60s went to HAwkaire in CLT and I understand the pilots were given the opportunity to go with them.

Anybody else read that? 4 to 5 days a week in addition to 1 to 2 weekends a month? Sounds like working your butt off about 20-22 days a month and never home. ????? I think I'll pass on that one.

QOL Lacking

They do not mention QOL at all.I would suppose that means no time off,no days off.

G-force,
What kind of QOL do you think any flying job has that you would like. Airplanes fly every day and night, any good job I know of will at some time have you on some long trips.

Long haul airline for me was 18 days a month on both front and back side of the clock. I have done 21 day trips Part 91 around the world and I thought this was great QOL.

If you want to be home every night and each weekend fly something for a small Part 91 turbo prop that only fly short legs.

Long range flying also makes prep time for the trip so you do have some notice.
