Not making light of the seriousness of the situation, but I'm kinda curious who's gonna be the first knucklehead to file suit against God or Iceland or the airlines for being stranded due to the volcano? You KNOW some lawyers out there are salivating at the thought.

Good luck getting any money from Iceland. They're under a mountain of debt!

I wonder if any of the tree huggers out there have calculated how much CO2 has been released by the volcano so far.

The volcano is strengthening according to Gary Tuchmann.

Yeah, I saw that tonight.

Leaving tomorrow at 1300Z headed over to Marseilles. Southern route, down to the Azores for fuel, then over. Should be well out of the way of the ash, but will keep a close eye on it. I certainly wouldn't want to become a test pilot in it. Especially when we have to turn around and go BACK over the ocean 10-11 hours. Nothing like finding out 90 minutes feet wet that your engines didn't like the ash you couldn't see...

Maybe we'll get stuck in Marseilles for a week. Oh the horror... ;)
