So how many of y'all got the bid to the Virgin Galactic Base?

Is is $120/hr to go to command a mission to the moon?

All Virgin pilots selected to go to the moon will be paid at first year Pilot pay of $44. You will only be paid actual block time which is the time the space ship drops to the time you come to a complete stop on the runway. Towing to the gate is not considered block time. Thank you. SRB.

Now THAT is funny!

That was funny Front, but actually, the pay is in the neighborhood of 300K yr. First group of guys have to have "Fast mover" time.... ie former fighter pilots etc. After that, the gates will open up. You will have a 2 yr or possibly 3 yr stint as the pilots and then go back to line flying. Be tough to match that 50,000 ft/min climb rate in a bus though... Hee Hee

Looks like the gates are open.

I don't see anywhere in there that says: "must work at Virgin America because we promised them that we would hire shuttle pilots from their ranks".

Why are they posting the job to the public? I'm sure there are plenty of actual astronauts out there with the current situation at NASA.

Were any of your guys involved in White-Knight or spaceship II?

50% of the Galactic crews must come from Virgin America. The other 50% is open to the public. We've already have had guys flying the sim.
