I didn't realize that Joe Houghton got the nod for CP. He was quite the A-10 jock and pretty much a master of many trades.

So when is the official or projected start up date?

I can't seem to plug into the new website - it requires some software that I don't have I think... Any other specifics on the website?

HS,

Very little specific employment info. Vague reference to a startup date and sort of "apply if you feel like it" info. Profiles of management wheels. Not much that I could find.

RJP, did you work the ramp at WP before getting a class?

I wish!

Well, they got at least one ex-AWA person with Don Applegarth, who then went on to Western Pacific. I wonder how many more ex-AWA people (from the bankruptcy days) will come with him. It seems that airline execs all travel in little pods...very small world...hopefully the people selected will have learned from mistakes they made at other carriers...(I know, wishful thinking...)

Just saw an intersting commercial about Bransons new reality show. Looks like which ever moron wins will be the new President of Virgin. Havent other airlines tried this before? Seems like most of them must have gotten their jobs by winning some type of game at the World school of Carnies.
