One guy did leave VA. He was the guy who set up the inflight entertainment system. He left to go do the same thing for a Chinese airline. His job at Virgin was done.

I just thought about him and you beat me to it.

Private companies still issue stock and DO have options.

I understand private companies have stock, but how could you have options. How could an exec sell them, and to who?

Back to the paint mismatch...theres nothing there that means anything.

As has been said VA leased a/c to skybus so i am sure they still have parts in old skybus colors. Maybe the cowl was damaged and the only replacement at that moment to keep that bird flying just happened to be off one of the skybus birds which had yet to be painted. It happens, i know we have done it...with smaller parts of course, Republic did it quite a bit when they flew for us...couple birds had cowls off some of their birds not painted in F9 colors because they were available and needed to be replaced asap to keep the birds going.

Nothin' wrong with it.

That aircraft was hit by a fuel truck a week ago in LAX. Its just a replacement part and nothing more. But, an aircraft has a replacement part put on and some of you sing of that carriers demise - Karma's a bitch.

Trump had many failed business ventures, did rather well at others. Smart businessmen kill off the bad ones and really let you know when they do well at others. Branson is no different.

So about the "REDWOOD" call sign- I picture Branson and his Virgin America buddies chuckling into their tea over that one. Most clever.

Because it's a tree in California.

You're right, it is a tree in California, and VA's HQ is in California! ....leaves me a little flat, but may just make an Englishman chuckle heartily.
