Very nervous (Airman FS related)

There have been several documented cases where the DE has not sent the paperwork in. The same is true of AME's. So I would start there first. It is entirely possible that it got mis-filed. And legally the problem is yours if ramped.

I had something similar happen with my commercial license. My temp was set to expire right before my CFI checkride. I called to find out where my license was and get another temp and the FSDO had no record of my commercial checkride. I then called Oklahoma and again, no records of my commercial checkride.

I called the DPE and he said he mailed it to the FSDO the day after the checkride. We ended up having to "reconstruct" the entire file and re-submit it to the FSDO. I ended up taking my CFI inital checkride using my THIRD temp (each one thereafter was valid for 20 days if I remember correctly) that was issued by that FSDO. I eventually got my commercial license in the mail with my CFI several weeks later.
