As for new bands I am digging the Strokes and I really like that song from the Darkness, kind of a throwback but you gotta love those big riffs and stadium rock sound. :D

Wee

Got my Van Hagar ticket today.
Here is the details!

Five Star

You're not just a fan. You're a fanatic.

There's nothing like it - the noise, the magic of being backstage while the crew runs around setting things up before a rock show. And you'll be there in the middle of it all. You'll be taken around as the riggers are in the rafters, the guitar techs get things tuned, and you are privy to Van Halen's inner sanctum. You'll even get a sneak peek of the show at Van Halen's sound check! Then, hang out at an exclusive party having a bite, having a drink, and collecting your special Van Halen package of goodies. Finally, it's out front to your seat in the first 10 rows while Eddie, Alex, Michael and Sammy rock you harder than you've ever been rocked before!

Each Five Star Package Includes:

1 Ticket in the First Ten (10) Rows
Five Star Laminate
Backstage Tour**
Pre-Show Party**
Soundcheck
Early Visit to the Merchandise Stand
Exclusive Van Halen T-shirt
Tour Program

Man, what a summer this is going to be!!

How much for the 5 star package? The four star was $175. I am going to buy a five star for the shows in Californication!;)

This just in....AP Reports of Van Halens world tour have sparked a mass shortage of pink aqua net hair spray...Workers are putting in overtime trying to keep up with thte heavy demand for the 80's nostalgic hair spray..Oh and on another tip..People everywhere are waxing up their old camaros and firebirds in a rebirth of crappy rocks like the world has never seen before.. Barbers are seeing a rebirth in the trend of rat tails and mullets like never before..Business up front party in the back...Just like a Hooters airplane...

Man, can't wait for July! 3 VH shows, 3 nights in a row, wew!

Van "Hagar" is possibly the best rock band yet to walk the face of the earth. Remember "Dreams" with the blue angles?

Yeah, right....

I could name dozens of better bands, but just don't feel the need.

I'll agree to that ONLY when they have been making music for decades and still touring......

The Allman Brothers Band fit that criteria, and would leave "Van Hagar" in a pool of bloody dust each and EVERY time.

Shall I go on?

You know, I've seen VH with both Sammy and DLR. I also saw DLR/Sammy tour that they did a couple of years ago. DLR SUCKED!!!!!

Sammy blew the doors off of that arena. More energy, better band, better voice, etc, etc. DLR just doesn't have it anymore.

I like VH songs from both eras. The DLR stuff has it's own place, whereas so does the Sammy stuff. Even if VH toured with DLR, I don't think it would ever be the same as it used to be. DLR is too spaced out nowadays. He's done, old and over with. Have you heard him talk lately? He can't make any sense he's so screwed up in the head!

Hehe, I've got tickets to see VH in Phoenix on August 5. Van Fu$%cking Halen!!
