Get one of those Sit & Stroller jobs. We didn't for our first two kids because we thought it was too expensive. What a mistake, well for our third (and last) we had the dough and what a difference it makes. 3/4's of the time the kid is asleep in it when the plane lands and I carry the thing out of the plane and convert it to a stroller at the bottom of the jetway. Pushing a sleeping baby around is better than dealing with a kid who's nap got interrupted. Easy and worth every penny......trust me.
