Well finally another bid has come and will include 39 new captains, 22 new fo's. This bid will give a total of 61 FE's a chance to upgrade. They are saying that there will be another bid or two. I feel we could see some hiring soon.

When is this new bid coming out? Have you heard any dates on the other two that you talked about? And will there be enough ropes to cover the new FE slots, or will they need to hire before the new contract? still swimming

How many are in the pool at UPS and how long have you been swimming?

I have been in since May Of 01. From what I know there are 83 people in the pool. The last I heard from UPS was about May of 02 and the letter said that I was in the pool and that when they started to hire again they would hire from the pool before interviewing.
