So, how does this whole thing work now with USAir and AWA guys? Since ALPA negotiated their contract are they now without one? I assume not, just not sure how that all works...

Existing contracts remain in place until such time as a new collective agreement is reached. It's usap's wet dream to pass the buck onto the company to shelf the binding award and substitute it with one based on DOH.

I would be extremely surpised if the company lawyers told Douglas to do this as it would then open the company up to massive law suits by west flight crews. No what I see is a threeway between UAL, CAL and this abortion that I now work for LCC. In this deal the LCC flight crews will be thrown under the bus while CAL and UAL prosper. LCC really has nothing to offer in this except the removal of thousnds of seats of capacity.

I for one and for such a deal as it will finally rid the earth of the foul stench of the USAir east pilots.

GO forth Douglas beer in hand and conquer!!!

WD.
