That boat was a pile of crap. I did 2 cruises on it. We went dead in the water twice in one week on our way across the Atlantic. On several occasions during both deployments, we lost the ability to produce fresh water, and we also spent the last 2 weeks of my first cruise without hot water. I hate that boat.

It's replacement shouldn't have those problems. Nuclear propulsion does nothing BUT make hot water -- lots of it.

With two Kennedy's in Congress it won't be long before another vessel is christened with the Kennedy name.

And don't let the women on it, unless they can swim really well.

Officials said that while the flight deck is not certified to fly fixed-wing aircraft, it can handle helicopters, which officials see as necessary for the transit up the East Coast during the winter.

The most important sentance in that story.

I got my initial CQ in the mighty goshawk on that boat.
