We had 2 East FAs riding on passes with us to Philly yesterday. They both came up to the cockpit and introduced themselves. One had on a USAPA lanyard. On one side it read "USAPA" on the other side it said "Seniority Matters". As an outsider, as I understand the arguments to be, it would make sense to me to say "Longevity Matters". The fight isn't over seniority per se but over how longevity should matter in slotting the two pilot groups. Correct?
Neither of us understood what "Seniority Matters" was supposed to mean.
Honest question here. Not trying to flame and am not stating an opinion on the matter one way or the other.

I think it is a response to Prater who said something like ALPA isn't about seniority it is about unity or something like that. He said it when the east guys went ape sh!t after the Nic award and started to talk about decert of ALPA.
