U.S. Airways Plane Gets Stuck In Mud At Bradley

POSTED: 1:50 am EDT April 19, 2008
UPDATED: 1:59 am EDT April 19, 2008

A U.S. Airways jet got stuck in the mud Friday night at Bradley International Airport, NBC 30 reported.

The 737 jet was inbound from Charlotte, N.C., with approximately 140 people onboard.
The plane was taxiing from the runway to the terminal when it veered off the runway and onto dirt. The pilot tried to turn the plane back onto the pavement, and as it was turning, the plane's wheels sunk about 8 to 10 inches into the mud, NBC 30 reported.
All passengers deplaned and were taken to the terminal.
The flight was not a connecting flight, and no injuries were reported, according to NBC 30.
The FAA is investigating the incident.

Hey, it's another test for Usaps. That business of running a union, dealing with the crap du jour, and putting out endless fires sure can get in the way of going after the big unattainable stuff.

This just keeps getting better and better.

Two more pilots are going to be fired.

Pickleball!

How much worse can it get seeing how well ALPA did?

he was showing the FO what the FFDO did when his gun went off on the other plane when he let go of the tiller to take his gun out.

"Hooray a pilot screwed up!"- is the idea of previous posts.

Pointing like grade schoolers when someone trips and falls.

I would not want to fly with you.

There are political disagreements and then there is piloting.

Shame on you.

He probably dropped his crack pipe and bent down to retrieve it....

I always love it when the morality police chime in. Trust me, nobody feels convicted because of your post.

Of course not. This is Lord of the Flies playschool.

Your name must be "Jack" or "Roger."
