Not true, unless the new agreement with AMR cuts it out in the event of a merger; haven't seen too many deets about the APA/USAirways agreement.

Can you guys and gals get your Shiite together. The average pilot must have lost a boat load of money during the USAPA thingy.

The binding arbitration is just that, binding. The pipe dream of USAPA, DOH, is dead!

If LCC/AMR merge than contract Nic is tied to will be dead & APA will decide the SLI.

APA will not decide the new list. I believe a new arbitrator will and I also think they will treat this as three separate lists to decide on. My reasoning is simple because even though AWA pilots and US pilots operate under the same certificate, have the same uniforms and are paid by the same employer we have two separate operations and two separate seniority lists. I can not bid for a seat in Phoenix right now and they can not bid for PHL, CLT or DCA so they must be two separate lists right?

Why not interduce a turd ( sorry i should have said third)group and have a 3 way p***sing contest, this is what keeps the juices flowing on FI

One can always dream.

So, the arbitrators for the US/AA SLI will just ignore the Nic?
