I flew into TUS yesterday, and on the west side of the airport there was five or six USAirway Express CRJ-200 parked by somehanger by themselves. Anybody know what the deal is with these airplanes, I could not see if they were PSA or MESA airplanes.

Just curious.

They are probably PSA's. The ones that were built but not delivered because of the bankruptcy were ferried to TUS from YUL last week.

My guess is that it's getting to be that time of year when it doesn't snow a lot in Tucson.

Bombardier has a large completion center at Tucson - they do alot of Challenger work there and I **think** they also do some CRJ work there as well but not absolutley positive about that. They were probably just taking them down there for some kind of work.

Boombardier completion at Tucson is being scuttled (if it's not already) and moved to ICT and YUL. Tucson is being converted into a CRJ Service Center.
