USAir Buddy Passes/ZED Fares

Questions about Buddy Passes and ZED Fares:

I work for Express and wanted to get a buddy pass for someone from the States to Canada. If I get one, do I have to physically travel with that person b/c it's an international flight? I thought I heard something regarding that... Also, how does one going about getting a ZED Fare? Can it be purchased on the phone or do you have to go to a USAir ticket counter?

You don't have to travel with them on int'l. You can only get Zed tickets at a US counter or US special services/customer desk which are inside of security.
