I just sent an email to HR re: a friend who is in the pool about classes.....I was told no classes planned as of right now. Supposedly, nine people quit in the last month...if that trend continues we should have a class starting eventually. We are already very short.

I like the prefbid but I guarantee 90% of the people will tell you it sucks. There are a few things that need to be worked out but I like it waaaaaaay better than regular lines.

New aircraft.....supposedly a 319 to fly out of MDW but no official announcement yet. We just got 2 in December. There are a lot of rumors flying around but not anything concrete yet.

With the pref bidding, do you get more days off in groups of 3 or more or are the days off in groups of 1 and 2 ?

About a month ago I flew with a guy that was hired there (on the spot in the interview) and after the interview they told him to expect the work to be seasonal.

It seems like from what I hear that the bottom guys (bottom 10-20, my guess) are seasonal as flying comes in and out with contracts. Once you move up alittle everything is fine though.
