What is the latest with USA3000 airlines? how many A/C's they have? pilots bases? and salaries?

Thank you for your help.

Salaries are on airlinepilotpay.com. I think the bases may be on there too, but I remember ORD, MKE, EWR,CVG, PHL, BWI, and maybe PIE. Not many layovers, mostly turns. Lots of sunny destinations like FLL, Cancun, Punta Cana, Fort Meyers. Not a bad first year salary, and maybe a fast upgrade? 15 days off a month minimum I believe....but tough to commute some say.

Bye Bye--General Lee

I saw a USA3000 bird in RIC today with a German registration. They've been advertising flights from here to Fort Meyers which is fine but why a German registration? Is that legal? Not bashing, just wondering.

I know they're leasing a couple planes from Europe over the busy season. Maybe that was one of the planes.

I believe it is legal to lease aircraft that are registered in other countries and has been for quite a while. The original Frontier Airlines leased Aer Lingus 737's during
the late 70's and early 80's while Air Florida leased 737s during the busy winter months from TransAvia in Holland.

Also Detroit, JFK, Philly, Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Ft. Myers....not PIE. MKE is seasonal. We have a new 28 day bid cycle.....9 GUARANTEED days off....5 grey days...so you end up with 14 days off in 28.

username, you are right.

PHXFLYR,
I love your aircraft experience column.......WHERE IS THE PAY? :)

What are their future plans for aircraft and growth? How big is their base in PIT?

Not a clue about the future plans...they don't really tell us anything. There are plenty of rumors about it but nothing solid. Their base in PIT has 7 crews (one airlplane).

Frontier still has an older 737 in their system with an "EI-..." registration. That's an Irish registration number. In DEN, you'll also see some Mexicana Airbus aircraft with U.S. "N" numbers, also.
