USA Jet pays for college degree

It is not necessary to have college degree to get hired at USA Jet, although about 75% of pilot have degress, because it has nothing to do with flying an airplane. But if pilot wants to enhance his resume with a degree while working at USA Jet Airlnes, the company will assist the pilot in pursuit of the degree with tutition reimbursement. That way a pilot can be building TJ PIC while finishing a degree and having the box checked for the next big move.

Actually, many companies offer assistance through tuition reimbursement -tax deductible with incentives thrown in by the state can turn it into a zero sum proposition. Most pilots already have a degree so they neither know nor care about it. Nice that it's there, but it's not setting the bar.

To be more specific USA Jet will reimburse up to 50% of the total tuition cost with $2500 annual maximum. This benefit begins after 1 year of employment. USA Jet will not only pay for 2 and 4 year degrees, but if you do have a degree and want to get a Master's Degree they will help you with that too. If you can fly instruments and want to gain experience come on down.

The only thing that was scaring me away from USA Jet at one point was the location. I did not know much about Michigan and when I heard the word "Detroit" all I could think of was 8mile and crime. There are definitely parts of Detroit that I don't want to be caught dead in, but let me be very clear that WILLOW RUN IS NOT IN THOSE PARTS OF DETROIT (Or really in Detroit for that matter) and that the area around Willow Run is not only affordable, but the people are incredibly friendly.

Well landlover, you're listed as being from the junk yard, so obviously your junk yard has no such program. Many other junk yards do though, and have for a long time. You need a nicer junk yard.

Actually you don't want to be in ANY part of Detroit except for down town, even then you need to be very carful where you go. There are ok, not so ok, and nice areas in Metro Detroit though ( which aren't part of the city).

I guess what I was trying to say is that I'm not much for urban areas anyways (although I have lived more than I would like to admit). Besides sports and the a occasional concert I doubt we will venture that way much, especially without someone that knows the town. Show me to the lake and a nice big campfire on my days off and I will be just fine. Heck, if I have more than a couple of days off you will find my butt sitting somewhere in the Caribbean, at a UT Game, or a Nascar race.

The point of my post was that Willow Run is in Belleville, not Detroit. You can be in Ann Arbor alot quicker than you can be sitting behind home plate at a Tigers game.
