If you guys want pilots make it a 7 on, 7 off schedule or a
make it a 2 hour callout with the next up crew on airport standby. I really don't know your business but on paper that seems easy to do. most pilots aren't time building, they want their next job to be a career. I can't see myself leaving buckeye land to live in Detroit. Monroe Michigan maybe, perrysburgh, Ohio even better.

In helicopter EMS it is 7 on/7 off and pilots don't make any real money because they like the schedule. Look at netjets, same schedule, lousy pay and a line of people dying to live out of a suitcase for 7 days and cater to the rich. Me? I would love a career freight job but I don't see too many options out there. Years ago I thought airnet in columbus was going to be a long term destination but that changed real quick.

Why is JUS always in SDF?
Ford truck factory is big user of just in time parts. It is also located just about on the center line of the auto parts supply chain corridor than runs from CYHM to MMMX. So there is good chance of getting another trip either to the boarder or back to KYIP, so airplanes hang around a while waiting for the next trip

Couldn't agree more, but I am only a messenger, maybe if we cannot find enough pilots they may move to something like that to make it more attractive.

Found this off the internet:

N715AA, a Boeing 727 formerly with @AmericanAir, has been taken up
with USA Jet Airlines as of April 20.

Another website said it was a CAM airplane from Wilmington, Ohio....
