Hope that info is correct. I've always thought it was a cool call sign, a lot easier to say on the radio, and would be a nice way to acknowledge the AWA history.

BTW, looking forward to this season. Coach Stoops has 'em going in the right direction. BEAR DOWN!

i had made a comment the other day to a guy i was flying with that it would be cool if US Air at least kept Cactus as the callsign. Glad to see others agreeded too...!

Well seems as how all the "JetPiedmont" guys are about gone, might as well keep Cactus as about the rest are the AWA guys left.
