Well, I read it, and since I have no fight in the matter anyway, I think there is obvious overlap. Of course USair doesn't fly to the same exact cities, since they only fly to USair hubs from Atlanta and other Delta hubs. They don't have service from Atlanta to Florida for example. But, they do have current hubs very close to Delta's, and I don't think that would do very well with the DOJ. I like how they stated they would follow the Delta pilot's contract, though, with minimum block hours etc. Interesting. I don't see it happening, though. That guy in congress who heads that committee doesn't want mergers I believe. He will probably stop this frenzy. And didn't the USair pilots also disapprove of this deal since they aren't even integrated yet? I just don't think it looks right. I thought Parker said in USAtoday that he wouldn't fight Delta management. I guess he forgot that he said that.

US should worry about the problems staring them in the face right now...not bringing another 50,000 plus employees into the ranks. Parker should turn and RUN before all of this BLOWS UP in his face!!@!!
