Hopefully the Airways seniority list will shrink by one. . .

PHILADELPHIA - An airline pilot who used his cell phone to take photos up a teenager's skirt at Philadelphia International Airport has pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy.
US Airways pilot Joseph Pereira was sentenced Tuesday in Philadelphia Family Court to one year of probation. He will be evaluated for a sex offender treatment program.

Authorities say Pereira used his cell phone to take photos under the skirt of a 15-year-old girl on June 24.
US Airways spokesman Morgan Durrant says the 55-year-old pilot from Wexford, Pa., is suspended.
Pereira earlier resigned as a girls softball coach at North Allegheny High School, near Pittsburgh. School officials said there have been no other complaints about Pereira in 13 years of coaching

The Arizona Republic

A US Airways pilot and could face felony assault charges in the beating of an Ahwatukee high school baseball coach who the couple is accused of targeting after the coach threatened to tell the pilot's wife about their alleged affair.

Edward George Myer, 50, and Valerie Hayes, 47, were arrested Friday hours after the man was reportedly beaten in the of Desert Vista High School, where he works as a volunteer baseball coach.

Myer and Hayes have each worked for US Airways for 23 years, according to court records released Tuesday.

An spokesman declined to comment about the pending criminal investigation.

Phoenix police recommended that Maricopa County prosecutors charge Hayes and Myer with aggravated assault, a Class 3 felony. Hayes could also face an additional felony assault charge, according to police.

The coach, who volunteers as a baseball coach at Desert Vista, is Hayes' ex-husband. He asked authorities to not release his name, police said.
Hayes, who lives with her four children in Phoenix, told investigators that she "helped (Myer) plan the attack" on her ex-husband and agreed to drive Myer to the after the attack to help him "fly out of state and escape charges," records show.

Phoenix police arrested Myer at Sky Harbor International Airport before he could board a, police said.

Myer, who lives in Park City, Utah, is accused of beating the baseball coach to the point that he bled from one ear, records show. Police said he punched the victim in the face as he was tending to a flat tire in the parking school near 32nd Street and Pecos Road.

"(Myer) admitted to intentionally using a friend's vehicle to find the victim, flattening his tire, hiding and waiting for the victim, and then assaulting the victim while he was changing his tire," police wrote in the probable cause statement for Myer's arrest.

I think every airline has its share of sickos. We had a kidnapper at AirTran and I seem to recall a wife beater at Delta and lets not forget the Eastern pilot who fed his ex into the wood chipper........
