Exactly, yes we have Airbuses, we have alot of Boeings too. Many of you (especialy you boys down south, you know who you are) just like to THINK we are all Airbus, I guess it makes you feel better or something. Whatever...

Right, like you're an expert. Despite DP telling us in person that he wasn't married to either manufacturer and would happily take a good deal from either or both companies. There's no logical reason for LCC to be an exclusive Airbus customer.

Doug Parker lied to you "ïn person", just like he did to the US Senators on Capitol Hill and the arresting officer in Tempe.

When was the last time you took delivery of a Boeing? How many Airbi do you have on order, how many Boeings? Why do you have Boeing envy?

LCC is an Airbi airline. There will be no 787s in your future, just some more A320s and maybe some hand me down A340s from Air Canada if you're lucky.

So you're saying that in your infinite knowledge and wisdom that when Parker told us he'd take the best deal from either company he was actually lying because he never intends to buy a Boeing, ever. You're worse than a mere liar because you do it for your own amusement. In the seven or eight years I've been on Flightinfo I've never been able to understand why it's fun for people like you to make outlandish statements just to get attention from a few posters who mistake you for a rational human being. The Internet must be a form of psychotherapy for you. And it's not even working since you've shown no improvement in your self-esteem. Sad.

Parker has already made his decision and for whatever reason he has chosen Airbus.

Answer these simple questions, when was the last time Parker ordered a Boeing aircraft and how many Airbi do you have in the pipeline? Just answer them to yourself if you like and then you will come to the same conclusion, LCC is an Airbi company.

Yes it is possible that LCC would order a Boeing 787 someday and it is equally possible that DAL will put in a large order for A380s and 747s, but I would not hold my breath.

I have growth envy, would I like to see more Boeings? sure, but I think for domestic flying, the Airbus is more comfortable. Long haul wide bodies, then you can't beat a Boeing. You, like the rest of your Southern clan WANT to believe we won't be getting any, no no! not US Airways, not them! you think your some kind of a flying superiority, Why don't you spell out the word "Airbus" in your coments instead of using stupid nicknames. You sir are condescending, anyone with a little bit of intellegence can read between your lines and see that. Go right on ahead and keep wishing ill on US. Everyone loves an underdog.

I stand corrected, thanks. Parker lied to the arresting officer in Scottsdale.

Sure he was drunk at the time, but that´s still no excuse.

Define Drunk... One drink? 2 Drinks? .08?

General could define it for you! I think its the state of mind he has to be in to bang is wife!!!!

Well, jeepers, the only way you could know that is if you crawed up his anus and wormed your way up into his head to read his mind. My guess is that you got lodged somewhere in his colon and remained there.

2006, when he took delivery of 3 757s. Ooops, I guess you forgot about that since LCC is an "Airbus company".

So, since LCC came into being Parker has ordered three 757s ,fifty E190s, however many A350s and some 321s. The pre-existing 320/319 orders don't start arriving until like 2009. We are anticipating an order soon to replace 737s. He has been entertaining bids from both companies.

Of course, if Boeing was as smart as you they wouldn't even bother talking to Parker since LCC is an "Airbus company". Are you smarter than Boeing?

Wow, that was a classic. I need to make more fun of you for living in a hick town like New Bern. Say hi to Kooter for me, when you are not kissing him.

Keep studying for that FE written, it is totally worth it. Maybe someday you can be an FE for Amerijet.

Bye Bye--General Lee

That was actually funny. Bravo!

You mean kind of like your guy pal in your picture?

He's also been entertaining lots of lawyers trying to get his drunk ass out of trouble......Which lawyer is he going to entertain?

Based on doogie's capitol hill performance, and his police record regarding his drinking and driving, I'd give parker's smarts about the same as a cod fish!

Oh, how disappointing. You just couldn't make up any more lies nor opinions masquerading as facts so you resorted to the old-fashioned ad-hominim insults. How sad you are.

And in the picture I'm the guy pal and the other is my wife.

Relax francis, you're taking this way too serious!

Dude that's his wife and she's a real female just in case you had a quick come back. The small avatar along with that rain gear didn't do the picture any justice.

Interesting tactic: write dumb things and expect everybody to know when you're being serious and when you're just having fun. Don't worry about me, I learned long ago that message-boards are how many pilots vent their frustrations and amuse themselves. I hold myself to a higher standard, however. Perhaps you should consider doing the same. No doubt if you searched you'd find things I wrote that I'm not proud of, however, they were only written in response to provocateurs like you. I take pride in not being a flame-baiter.

Wow, talk about an inferiority complex.

So let me see, 3 Boeings in 2006 and LCC has orders for 10 A330s, 20 A350s and just purchased 7 A321s. It looks like Parker likes those Airbi. Not that there is anything wrong with that, so I don´t understand why you take such offense and resort to such childish put downs. Enjoy the Airbus, I´m sure it´s a fine aircraft.

Well that´s not really fair, what do you have against cod fish?

What childish put-downs? You present your opinion as if it were fact. If that isn't childish I don't know what is.

Thank you. It pays the bills for now. Given a choice I'd still be flying the 717, though.

There are only 2 types of pilots who dislike the Airbus: Those that haven't flown it and those that can't.

Probably alot of truth in that, but 2 very fine 757 captains I respect greatly had the following comments after transitioning to the bus....

"its a cheasy little airplane....."

"I get the feeling that they only put just enough into it to get the job done...."

I would also add that both those gentlemen could most definately fly the bus.

I also know a couple guys who have left the 737 for the bus and can't stand it, and a couple other guys who have left the bus to come back to the 737.

Yeah I know people go to the bus and love it, but its far from universal.
