Whatever, the Sand People can suck it.
Probably the worst quote I have seen on FI in years. Insensitive and intellectually dishonest.
Dude, binding arbitration is binding - just like a divorce is a divorce. Those Cactus pilots had the same career aspirations as you guys and they won the legal argument after saving your AZZZZZZZ post 911. Facts are facts. I am sure Parker is aware of that and lawyers will be lined-up to enforce the BINDING agreement before the AA/US merger is consummated. The sooner you guys wake up and smell reality, the better for everyone involved. Comments like these only inflame the situation and make the Easties and their "union" look worse.
Rod,
Learlove is a "third lister", in other words he was hired after the merger occured.
Shows how much you know. Like many other topics you spout your mouth off at stuff you think you know about.
You would do us all a favor if you'd give us your best Kurt Cobain firearms demonstration.
Fact: Seniority issues will be a moot point going forward at the new AA/LCC- attrition through retirements will progess everyone's career foward, from this point.
Fact: Delta just found itself the smallest of the legacy carriers.
I thought this thread was about USAirways calls for hiring. Can you guys take your "issues" outside?
What are they telling people as far as the amount of classes and how often they will be run?
Rumor is American may hire off the street in the Fall.
This would be in addition to US Air hiring.
Great news! I'm curious what the projected AA hiring number would be. I'd imagine that there was a huge number of AA retirements right before the bk.
Somebody told me that there were fewer than 800 applicants on file for LCC hiring. I had also heard that UA/CAL had over 8000 applicants on file.

A little off topic- Does US Airways still use flight cases or are all the Jepps/Manuals electronic or have an aircraft set?
If that's true, I know half of them the way my cell phone has been blowing up since the merger announcement.

Every 2 weeks alternating between PHX and CLT randomly depending on who's available where. No idea how many[/I]Anyone know how often Airways holds interviews and how many are invited to each session?
You sir, are an idiot
Brilliant- especially since you don't know to you punctuation at the end of a sentence.
The 800 applicant number was given to me by two credible sources in the hiring program. And yes, that was before the announcement was made, regarding the merger (November time frame). Basically, I was told that if you were met the quals for what they wanted, you'd get the call for an interview.
