Interesting that the 190 went senior, if one were to get PHL or DCA Airbus would you be on reserve for years? Is PHL Airbus a commutable gig?

On the 190 you get paid slightly more first year, and you advance more quickly to commutable long call reserve or block holder than on the bus. If you change your mind, after one year you can bid the Airbus and no harm done, you didn't give up any money or QOL. The only reason to bid the Airbus first year would be if you prefer CLT or DCA as a base.

Kinda seems that way, just based on the lack of posts on this thread and others of those getting on.

Anyone know if there is a hold on calls until after the merger is announced?

I don't know, but I don't think it's coincidental that they haven't produced a May or June system bid yet.

How long would it take to get PHX? Best guess ... Given the fact I just read elsewhere that there are no vacancies till May?

Or is that even possible the way things are structured right now.

May bid came out today... 15 pilot reduction system wide...

And 15 retirements/departures. Appears effectively stagnant for now in spite of huge retirements this year and rest rule changes right around the corner. MOU allows large reductions at both AA and LCC. $1B doesn't come by "revenue synergies alone.

Hiring to East only. Doug said no hiring to West at least through the year.

The last bid had 29 mandatory retirements. This bid has only 5... The large retirement numbers don't really kick in until later in the year...

That's a status that some of the applications are getting. When some people log in, they see a status that says "keep warm".

It should say "food stamps"......because that is what you are going to be living on if you get hired there and make $25/hr your first year.

So does anyone know what it's better to have? I had the View Directions link which disappeared, and still show 'Under Review'. Never got the rejection email.

So is it better to show 'Under Review' after having had View Directions...or better to have 'Keep Warm'???
