Yet the Phoenix training center sits idle.
So having 3 applications "under review" right now is desirable?
Not that I'm aware of. Several new hire classes have started their indoc training there. Recurrent training as usual. Things are plobably slower now than they were a while ago, because all of the 737 pilots have transitioned over to the new A321s. Parker has already addressed the fact that all training centers are going to be needed for the upcoming retirements and new aircraft. The PHX facililtiy while relatively small is very nice. In the late 90's I visited the AA training center in Fort Worth, very impressive. I've never been to the CLT training center, but have heard it is nice.
How long does the yes/no take?
Any idea what the short call out time will be.
Anybody out there get told about a July class yet?
Kid in my class hired at age 22. No Part 121 PIC. 2200 TT.
Helps that his granddad hired two middle management morans?
Don't you have to be 23? Is that still a requirement for an ATP? Don't you have to have an ATP to hold a type rating?
"A reasonable time by ground transportation."
Pretty gentlemanly way to work it, ain't it?
It translates to 2:30 minutes.
