yeah, just saw that, i'm sure it will change a few more times before they get it correct.
 
I'm sure the media will be demanding to know whether or not they landed on the correct runway, and what their V1 was at the time of landing. :rolleyes:

And was there enough air traffic controllers in the tower.
 
This from AOL news...

"Federal Aviation Administration records show the plane was built in 1989.

The fire was quickly extinguished and the plane remained on the runway , surrounded by white foam.

Durrant said Flight 431 left Charlotte, N.C. at 11:35 a.m.

The plane was made in 1989, according to Federal Aviation Administration records."


Uh, apprarently the plane was built in 89.....this this matters why??????

Well, if it's older, that means it's had more time to dry out completely, so it's more likely to catch fire...

Sheeeeet.... the plane I fly was made in 59 (KC-135). They think 17 years is old? Try 50. If they only knew the aircraft defending the very freedoms they use to spew their dumba$$ speculation was half a century old, whoa... The media is clueless.
