Can someone clear up exactly what UPS wants:
Flight Officer
Hiring 727, 747 and DC-8 Flight Engineers
Louisville, KY UNITED STATES
Minimum Requirements:
-Current ATP Certificate or written -Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine land instrument rating (without limitations) -Current FE written or turbojet rating-FCC restricted radiotelephone operator permit -Current FAA First Class medical certificate -Minimum 21 years of age -Must have a minimum of 1000 hours in fixed-wing jet and/or fixed-wing multi-engine turboprop pilot in command (PIC) -Must have a minimum of 1500 hours of total flight time -Must hold a valid passport-Must have authorization to work in the United States -A bachelor's degree is preferred -Recommendations from UPS employees are preferred -Recency and type of experience will be taken into consideration.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
So does the 1000 hours in fixed-wing jet have to be PIC? Does the "pilot in command" statement apply to both the jet and turboprop, or just to the turboprop time?
