I just read on airlinepilotcentral.com that UPS reached a TA. Any brown guys have any info on this? The thread on airlinepilotcentral said something about it being listed on the B&G or something like that. I hope you guys got a great TA and congrats....if it turns out to be bogus.....hang in there.

It's on the B&G but no official word yet. People are already freaking out saying they are voting NO and nothing is for sure yet.

Hey,

That sure sounds familiar. NWA pilots were saying the same thing when rumors about our concessionarry TA leaked out.
From what I hear, the UPS TA is not concessionarry, ....I hope.

IPA Statement

IPA TO RELEASE STATEMENT ON FRIDAY REVIEWING PROGRESS IN TALKS

Progress continues to be made in contract discussions between the Association and United Parcel Service. The parties have held talks over the past eight days on a wide range of issues. The Association will release a statement tomorrow, Friday, reviewing this progress to the pilot group. This statement will be issued no later than 5 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, June 30th.

That would be amazing. Just 5 days ago they had a blurb in the local paper that UPS and IPA had worked over the weekend at the behest of the mediator to come up with a new schedule for negotiations. They made a point of saying that the meetings were just to schedule future talks and that no contract negotiations were ongoing.
Good luck!
