A little help from you experienced UPS guys? I know Rockford is not a pilot domicile, however I heard from a buddy that some UPS pilots who live in the Chicago area bid an Alert/Reserve line there? How senior does this go and what type of aircraft cover these lines? Any info would be great, just curious at this point!

Cheers,

Farmer

Hot Standby is what it is called. I believe that it is done on the DC-8. Not sure if they also have a 757 or 727 doing it also. Hot Standby usually goes pretty junior.
