Any idea as to how long after the interview you would get a rejection letter? Someone I know works there and thinks if you haven't gotten one after 2 weeks, it is a good sign. Then I heard some got lost in the mail and the people waited 5 weeks to find out. Also, does it come UPS or regular mail?

Wow. I can't believe it took almost 45 minutes for someone to post that original quip.

Good job, fella. And THAT's what you came up with for your first post on Flightinfo? I'd be ashamed and embarrassed. Do yourself a favor. Get a new name, re-group and come back later.

Luckily I didn’t get a rejection letter, but I’d think you’d hear bad news sooner rather than later.

Most correspondence I’ve received from UPS has been via US mail. They are using email for some info, but I wouldn’t expect a rejection via email. I received my “pool” letter via US mail back in 2001. The second time around they gave me the congrats at the interview, but that was very early-on in this hiring cycle.

Also, the only correspondence I’ve received via UPS had to do with benefits.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Get bent!

I got my rejection letter a little more than 4 weeks from my interview. It comes regular mail.

I interviewed on a Wednesday, and 2.5 weeks later on Friday, I got the no thank you letter. It was a great experience. It hurt getting the bad news.
