Longtime UPS poolies are wondering if there is any chance of eventually getting called.

Anyone ever called after long, long swim? What is the record for longest swim?

I could almost feel the crisp cold air as I preflighted in Alaska........

Should we give up the dream and move on?

Update fax number does not even work!

No hiring dept. to call!

Any insight would be appreciated.

Why don't you call the CP and ask?

Never say never, but we are looking at a possible 300-500 pilot furlough in 2010. If that happens, look for those guys to be on the street for at least 3 years. If we do not furlough, and the economy picks up, maybe somewhere around 2012 we could see hiring again. What they will do with those in the pool is anyone's guess. My advise is to move on and assume they will start over from scratch. When they start hiring again, I would plan on beginning the process all over again.
