Just thought I'd post some info I got from UPS pilot HR today; it may all be old news to this forum, so please excuse it if so. I can at least assure you it's accurate.
Pilots Hired 2004-2006: 445
Next Class: January ~15: 18 MD-11 F/O (10 to ANC, 8 to SDF)
I asked what the hiring forecast was for the year and could only get "a lot." I tried to pin down a number, but I'm not sure there's anything official being advertised. IMHO, from the way it looks now, it's very possible the training pipeline capacity will be the determining factor.
