Anyone read Air Inc's Airline Pilot Job Monthly newsletter for July?

Under the UPS hiring info, it states that UPS is opening freight hubs at ONT/RFD/DFW/PHI/CAE within next 12 months...

I though UPS already had these freight hubs. Anyone know what Air Inc is talking about?

Thanks!

My understanding is those airports are already air hubs in the package operations, and now they are also going to be air freight hubs. If you check the news archives on UPS.com you'll find the article announcing the addition of the freight hubs.

Hopefully the increase in air freight will equal an increase in flight ops and subsequently, pilot hiring.

OK

Thanks for the info. I was hoping they were talking about possible pilot hubs. The news is still great - hopefully, increase in ops, and like you said, and increase in pilot hiring.
