UPS current FEX written?

Noticed on the UPS website that is states current FEX written. Do they consider that if you are working for a 121 operator and the written expired, the written is current. I am getting it renewed in a week or two. Just want to get my stuff in as quickly as possible.
I also saw somewhere that they possibly might like that you have volunteered. Before I put it on the cover letter, I would appreciate confirmation of this. Appreciate the help.

I'm pretty sure that they would prefer one not expired. As for the volunteering, if you are referring to community type service, I'd say that it would be a plus as UPS is BIG on appearing to be a community activist on a variety of charities and orginizations.
