Did the Sept. 12th class get reduced in size?

Maybe they cancelled it? With the new contract's efficiencies, no need to hire. Not many over 60 guys retiring either.

Why do you think that the 9/12 class was reduced? If anything, it sounds that they mat have increased it. No, I don't have any info; just things that I have gathered over the last couple of weeks. Just wondering...

When the 767s show up, that will allow the final phaseout of the 727s. They will all be gone after peak 2007. So with all those crewmembers to absorb and the new efficiencies and few retirements, no need for large classes.
