I'm sure just like any other established company they require it.LUVTUL said:Just curious if one needs the degree to get in the door at UPS. I know they are

Thanks.

If you already have an associates degree, busting out a bachelors would only require about a year and three quarter's of sacrifice behind a computer. Look into it. I know it can be a hardship to have to take away time from the family to do so...but it can only open doors for you. Especially considering the flight times you have. Good luck to you!LUVTUL said:Just curious if one needs the degree to get in the door at UPS. I know they are

Back when we were hiring, many line pilots I talked to then said that their recommendations to HR seemed to be a kiss of death to an applicant. For some reason recommendations from line pilots don't seem to go very far with HR. Now on the other hand, a recommendation from a manager, especially a boxhead type, that's what really carries a lot of weight with HR.LUVTUL said:Maybe 3 LOR's from line pilots will help when the time comes.
Thanks again.
