I have never seen the Beech 1900 upgrade at Colgan go more than 2 years, even if you come in with 1000 hours. Can't say about the Saab, but probably the max historically is 3 years. We are currently upgrading anyone that meets the mins, I believe 2000tt/500type for the 1900 and 2500tt/500 type in the Saab (numbers could be off a bit).

Of course there's a reason for this quickness - growth, FO attrition (Colgan is an RJ FO training school), and captains moving on to fly big jets.
