One 20 year Capt is now an FAA ACI.

How does this relate to the original question? How about a little FOCUS...

Dude, this if FI... The second you post you are open to stupid answers and ridicule. There is no focus. Ask a stupid question get 50 answers that you really have no idea if they are good or completely made up.
oh and I forgot that thread hi-jack! ALPA sucks, MESA sucks, RJ's suck, Mainline pilots suck.... you opend the door don't bash when you get pushed though it.

PS spelling sucks too!

Did they take a pay cut somewhere or are they working at the payscale in place when they signed up for the job?

(*Sorry off-topic. I know: FOCUS!*)

At least one went to Hawaiian. A couple went to Jetblue. A few went to Evergreen and Polar/Atlas. A couple junior first officers went to Compass. I think the majority of them are without jobs or out of aviation though. The top 60 are waiting for their Republic/Frontier captain spots.

Evergreen hired a few of the Midwest Pilots.

Already mentioned my man.

Not surprised that Air Tran would hire a bunch given their 717 experience.

Newhires go into 737 aircraft just as often as 717, so I don't think it really matters that they flew 717. More importantly, they were a highly experienced group of pilots who needed a job NOW.

AirTran pilots knew the Midex guys got hosed and encouraged the Company to hire as many as possible, including, I believe, a letter to that effect from our MEC.
