A new docket has been filed in Mesa's Bankruptcy proceeding. The US Trustee is objecting to the request of Mesa's legal counsel for compensation.
The Trustee objects to payment ahead of resolving 5 million in claims and that Mesa has 52 million free cash on hand as of 6/30/10.
Trustee also objects to certian costs posted by Mesa's primary counsel for bankruptcy, specifically several nights worth of hotel bills at very high end locations, one of which no apparent justification exist for. The objection request the court to reduce the amount the lawyers' are eligibale to recieve for the other stays.
