Am I correct to assume there are a fair amount of men that attend the WAI conference?
I am thinking about going next week one day to visit a couple airlines. At other job fairs that I've been to in the past I've stood in line 3+ hours to meet with recruiters of certain airlines. Is this typically the case with WAI or not so much since it's over a three day period?
I'd go if I were you, but I honestly have never went. Equal opportunity is just that- in my opinion if you're there supporting diversity among the sexes and go to the fair- they'll be glad to have you- if they aren't they're hypocrites
Lots of men go to the WIA conference and lots of white folks go to the OBAP conference as well.
US Air is hiring. Atlas is hiring. United is accepting applications. Delta is accepting applications. JetBlue is hiring. FedEx is hiring. Virgin America is hiring. Alaska is hiring. Hawaiian is hiring. Spirit is hiring.
I'd say the time to get your face in front of a recruiter is NOW.
If I am only able to go on Saturday, will i be able to talk to everyone i want to talk too? That would be Delta, American, USairway, United. Also, is this a full blown job fair where they accept resumes or is it just a meet and greet.
Thanks
