I saw that XJT won a bid to fly 22 planes. Are there still more planes up for bid with United. I thought the original RFP was for like 50 something planes including some turboprops?

20 something went to ASA, 20 something went to XJT

I believe it was 12 or 13, with a spare for ASA. 22 for XJT, 11 on a 2 year arrangement, 11 on a 3 year. It's been termed "long term", silly enough. Although the agreements are extendable if UAL chooses, of course.

And is the jury still not out as to whether or not the ASA planes were a part of the FRP, or something else?
