Tray tables and side sticks. Proof that Airbus has evolved beyond Boeing.

At least they are smart enough to admit that 4 engine airplanes are deader than fried chicken.

Are you talking about the 4 engine A380 that just recently entered production?

Or the 747-800 that recently entered production?

I'm confused.

Ask QANTAS what competing with Virgin Australia is like.

The best RUMINT I've received is that an A380 burns something like 30t more fuel on segments longer than 7 hours compared with a A380/B747.

The 747 is a good cargo lifter, but see what FedEx thought of the A380 as a cargo aircraft compared to the 777.

No, the question I asked was, "who are you referring to"?

When you said "At least they are smart enough to admit that 4 engine airplanes are deader than fried chicken" I don't know who you're referring to.

Is it Airbus you're talking about? Because they've staked quite a lot of money on their A380, which is only a few years into production.

Or is it Boeing that you're talking about? Because they're now making the 747-800.

Was this comment in reference to the A350 having 2 engines? Because the 787 has only 2 engines, last time I checked...

I guess I just don't know if your comment was a slam or a compliment. Nor against whom. It's quite ambiguous.

Ah, never mind.

I love lamp.

Edit- Are you talking about United?
