Congrats to all my friends at UAL on your profit....ooops wait they are all back on active duty....

I am so ashamed! It was my attempt at resume building.

Yeah, a lot of them are probably back on active duty serving their country...and your point is? That has nothing to do with United making a profit. Good on you guys - keep it up.

Congrats UAL...Keep up the good work!

BTW, all my UAL buds are either back on active duty or at FedEx now....Glenn Tilton needs an attitude readjustment.

Any of your buddies make the cut at Southwest?

This coming from a guy that had to break down the models on the version of 707's he flew? You want me to break mine down farther; -222, 223, 422, -7's,-9's, led sleds, etc?
It's ok I know you SWA guys have trouble with airplane envy. I enjoy my life and I hope you do also.

PRICELESS!

A lot of us care not to apply, either in 1999 or PRESENT day.

Grow up! I have never seen any pilot I work with ever say one negative thing towards a pilot brother at SWA, except for what my S/O said one day "Look! its another Herb Turd!"

Before you get your pantines in a wad, his brother is a SWA Captain!

Can't we all get along?

1999? You're still worried about comments made by some Marvin Mailiner milktoast UAL dude? LET IT GO, LET IT GO..... See some of us can make fun of ourselves.

the shoe is on the other foot... don't like it to much, huh. I was just giving examples there TED.

Every industry does this, GM vs. Ford. I just saw a sticker on the back of a Ford truck, this cute little kid pissing all over a GM logo. Did I cry (like your doing :bawling: ), did I make the guy pull over and pick a fight with him? :uzi:
NO! I just laughed to myself and said hey self "I wonder if they sell those stickers with the UAL logo on it".

Just kidding Suzie...my point is: it happens in every business out there. Even in sports its call a "rivalry".

Use this as motivation, we did at SWA. Until you guys get back on your feet, I'll go easy on you. Remember: sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.

SWA,

Since this is all just good natured fun and rivalry.

Don't you have a landing distance performance class you need to attend?

As for your quote to remember how about this. Sticks and stones may break my bones and airport fences will never contain me?

Isn't it funny now?

One thing you can say about those guys, they all kept their clothes on during all manuevers. Also, we have not shown up drunk, yet. How is the High Ball F/O in SLC doing these days? I suppose if I thought I had to fly for SWA I too would be tempted to self medicate to make it palpable.

You only need to look at your profile to find the answer to these questions. Thanks for the disrespect!

Have you seen your fellow UAL bretren lately? Not the kind anyone would like to see naked, at least that's what their wives say.

except for what my S/O said ...............

Before you get your pantines in a wad, his brother is a SWA Captain

At least there was one smart kid in that family.

You fought for that disrespect. It is America, and we all have our freedom.

My point is: I was laughed at for choosing to apply and interview at SWA. I was even ridiculed even more when I chose to work there. I had no crystal ball but I could see problems at other legacy carriers even before 9/11. I was told SWA pilots work to hard and are paid too little. Well, I can tell you I don't work as hard as I did when I was in the USAF and I get paid more.

My friend are all back working hard and getting paid less! So the arrogance they portrayed has been deflated....

Right up to the time they crossed 2 active runways without having a clue as to where they were. I wonder how many of those "gentlemen's agreements not to upgrade" pilots are flying the line over at Unicef Airlines inc!

One thing that you can be sure of, at least when I look at the guy I fly with, he's not a "scab." Can you do the same? You probably are one yourself!

Keep up the insults 32, you make it too easy to pick on your pathetic broke back airline!

Do you even know what Unicef actually is? Not hardly fair to drag kids down because you don't like UAL and can not enjoy some "Rivalry" like your clown SWAFO. Please tell me you ment to defame some other group rather than children.

As for flying with scabs? Haven't flown with a scab in many years but it is not that bad. They know they are f-ups and pretty much stay to themselves. How many are still around? Not too many.

I would rather sit next to a sober scab than a drunk idiot any day of the week. But we all have our preferences and I suppose you prefer drunks and naked guys. Hmmm, now that I think about it you mentioned "Broke Back" and approve of sitting in the cockpit with naked guys. So Bosely you living an alternative lifestlye? Not that there is anything WRONG with that... It just explains the tizzy you seem to get into. Oh you boys and your hissy fits.

You might be that SWA guy that had his photorama posted all over the ALPA forum? The happy fella with the dyed hair and obvious less than heterosexual tendencies.
