There is a pretty significant disparity between the loads shown on the united non rev site and united.com.

I am trying to book travel for my elderly folks and am a little nervous about booking them with such a huge difference in the number of available seats shown on united.com vs. the employee non rev site.

anyone have experience using the employee site?

If you're looking at the seat map on united.com, that is not an accurate representation of available seats. Many seats don't become available for assignment until 24 hours prior to the flight. Go with the numbers on the non-rev site.
