Of all the regionals UAL is using now, and considering the replacement of AWAC flying, wich one will see the most growth. Especially out of ORD.

SkyWest Lines

April Aug
cos-37 39
den-117 139
fat-40 42
ord-44 63
psp- 13 15
sba-7 7
slc-214 194
smf- 17 17
tus- 29 30

The growth has been in den and ord.
New FO's have been sent out west the last couple months, but that's because of vacancies due to upgrades.

One of my friends from school got based out west too!

SKYW at ORD

Just out of training and 4 of us are in ORD. The reason some new hires are getting other bases is because people want "IN" at ORD. Most new hires who dont get awarded it have it within the next month. Other UAX bases are growing as well so they need to balance all the bodies. Hiring 50 people every 3 weeks till November.

if you're new at ORD and you're asked after landing on 22L to cross 27L do not cross and then stop!! take a right on B go down towards the pad and then stop. here we are following Skywest and now we're on 27L while they stop and an md80 is on a 1 1/2mi final for 27L. controller had a heart attack.

don't stop don't stop don't stop.

never stop, even if you cant raise the ground controller. just keep going and follow everyone else. they will be much more pissed if you stop and screw up thier flow than if you taxi all the way to the gate and never even talk to them.
