Anyone have any idea who may take over the United Express and Usairways Express Saab 340 flying if Colgan Air actually parks their aircraft ? Or are the Saab 340 Aircraft pretty much done for mainline air carrier feeder use?

As of sometime last year, OCT timeframe, US Airways cancelled the SAAB contract with Colgan. No more SAAB's for Airways, all TP flying done by Piedmont

there are still 3 saabs flying out of BOS doing EAS under USairways banner. They will go away and supposedly be replaced by some other EAS specialty carrier. Dunno the equipment though.
