I was told enough voluntary loa's. Don't know a lot of details yet, it just happened. Not the greatest news in the world but it at least buys me some time to find something else. I doubt it would be a permanent cancellation.

I would say with the 98 voluntary leaves requested for September, most of the already notified furloughees will get another month in this United paradise. Just a temporary delay, but if enough people continue to leave voluntarily, it should really help mitigate the total number of involuntary furloughs.

If it weren't for all the great pilots flying over there- and what they've done for the industry- i'd love to see United tank at this point. Moreso than Frontier. I'd love it a lot more if i thought that their management wouldn't find a way to steal from it on it's way down.

Be real not canceled just delayed till a later date. All the 300's and not getting parked overnight. So they can work everyone over Thanksgiving and Christmas and then let everyone go. They don't have 950 guys who have applied for the LOA

I called ORDFO Fri. they have no idea who is/is not. I am trying to KEEP my furlough date. I was looking forward to it.

I am due to be furoughed on Sept. 3.

Have heard nothing from UAL on this.

After the spiral down this airline has given me the last few months, I would almost have to demand a bonus to stay here, if one of my applications comes through....
If i stay, will just be abused as a reserve with a two-leg commute...
